His research is titled &#8220;Black Students Coping with Racial Microaggressions in Everyday Life.&#8221; Sandra Lewis, professor in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/chss\/psychology\/\">Department of Psychology<\/a> and director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/chss\/african-american-studies\/\">African American Studies program<\/a>, served as his advisor.<\/p>\n<p>During his time at Montclair State University, Ford-Graham, a Psychology major, has served as a research assistant for Sandra Lewis as well as Jennifer Pardo, also a professor in the Department of Psychology.<\/p>\n<p>Ford-Graham aims to continue this research in graduate school, where he wants to focus on clinical psychology and cognitive research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Corey Ford-Graham, Class of 2017, for receiving the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award at the Student Research Symposium on April 28, 2017.
