includes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Loans<\/li>\n<li>Scholarship<\/li>\n<li>Any funds that do not come from you personally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Aid Eligibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Enrollment in an eligible program<\/li>\n<li>U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen<\/li>\n<li>Valid Social Security Number<\/li>\n<li>Sign certifying statements on the FAFSA<\/li>\n<li>FAFSA filers must answer the drug question<\/li>\n<li>Male students must be registered with Selective Service\n<ul>\n<li>Or must consent to registration while completing FAFSA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Steps to Receiving Aid<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply for an FSA ID: <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fafsa.gov\" target=\"_blank\">fafsa.gov<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Complete the FASFA: <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/fafsa.ed.gov\" target=\"_blank\">fafsa.ed.gov<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Check the SAR\n<ul>\n<li>Once FAFSA is submitted, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR)\n<ul>\n<li>Received online via email<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students may make corrections\/updates upon review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Types of Aid<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Loans<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Federal Direct Stafford Loans (no credit check)\n<ul>\n<li>In the student\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Repayment begins 6 months after student is no longer enrolled at least half-time (4.5 credits)<\/li>\n<li>This is an unsubsidized loan:\n<ul>\n<li>Interest accrues while student is enrolled<\/li>\n<li>Fixed rate of 6% (1.069% origination fee)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students must go to <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/studentloans.gov\/myDirectLoan\/index.action\" target=\"_blank\">studentloans.gov<\/a> and sign their master promissory note and complete entrance counseling in order for loans to pay against the bill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Federal Graduate PLUS Loan\n<ul>\n<li>Based on credit check<\/li>\n<li>Endorser (co-signer) if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Repayment Options:\n<ul>\n<li>Standard immediate repayment<\/li>\n<li>Interest only payments<\/li>\n<li>Full deferment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Alternative Private Loans\n<ul>\n<li>Provided through lenders such as banks or educational loan lenders<\/li>\n<li>Do a compare of several private loans: <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elmselect.com\" target=\"_blank\">elmselect.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elmselect.com\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Review Interest Rates and Repayment Terms<\/li>\n<li>Truth in Lending Act \u2013 requires a number of steps to be taken by the borrower and the lender before a loan can be disbursed\n<ul>\n<li>Private loans can take up a month or more to process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>TouchNet Payment Plan<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>$30.00 to enroll<\/li>\n<li>Up to 5 monthly installments<\/li>\n<li>Allows for extended time to pay
