Montclair State’s Restart Training for Employees is designed to share the general safeguards being taken on campus to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
All employees, campus visitors and contractors are required to complete this training prior to coming to campus or no later than August 24, 2020, even if you do not plan to visit the campus prior to that date.
The training materials include the new health screening procedure, Hawk Check. This online assessment is required for everyone who comes to campus. Plan ahead if you are coming to Montclair State. You need to take the self-assessment 6 to 14 hours before arriving on campus.
Everyone who comes to campus (whether every day, or only on certain days) must do Hawk Check, and they must do it 7 days a week. It is one of our most important tools for breaking the chain of infections faster and keeping everyone safer.
Please allow for 15 to 20 minutes to complete the training.
The six modules are:
- Symptom Checking
- Face Coverings
- Social Distancing
- Hand Hygiene
- Cleaning and Sanitizing
- Testing and Contact Tracing Protocols
At the conclusion of the training, you will be asked to acknowledge your training completion. Additional topics may be developed based on employee requests or emerging needs.
The training is aligned with the safeguards and practices described in the Restart Plan, which are consistent with federal and state regulations and the recommendations of public health authorities.
