Opportunity in the Garden State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program

CSAM students in underrepresented minorities are eligible to join LSAMP as a General Member!

Posted in: Research Opportunities

You can obtain funding for research in the MSU Remote Sensing Lab by applying for a LSAMP Scholar Stipend ($900 per semester). The stipend requires you to complete 3 hours of research each week along with mandatory attendance at weekly and monthly meetings and to present at an annual state wide meeting.

Eligibility: Students from Underrepresented Minorities (Hispanic or Latino, Black or African American, American Indian, Pacific Islander) can join. We are especially interested in students who are just starting at MSU. There is no GPA requirement, but you are required to be a US citizen or Green card holder and must be majoring in a STEM discipline. We have research tasks lined up in the lab, just waiting for inputs from dynamic students.
