Amanda Tornabene, one of this year’s communication studies graduates, will be attending New York Law School in the fall. Amanda states it was a real privilege working with nonprofit organizations during her Montclair State experience. And she attributes that impactful experience to her desire to enter the legal profession and help represent those without voices and influence. Amanda had wonderful relationships with her professors whom she feels were true mentors and cared about her success beyond MSU and the School of Communication and Media. Amanda admits there was a time when a college career never entered her mind. But, four years later, she has not only become a believer in the value of a college education, but she is exemplifies how getting the most of the university experience can dramatically change one’s life trajectory. Today, Amanda is motivated by the promising future she knows is ahead.
