Apply Now

Following submission of the University application, applicants who qualify will receive a formal invitation, sent by email, to submit a separate Application to the School of Communication and Media.

Step 2.  Submit an Application to the School and Request an Interview Appointment
(Minimum admission requirement is an overall GPA of 3.0)

All applicants to the programs specified above (majors and minors) must submit a separate application to the School of Communication and Media, in addition to the University application.  The application includes questions regarding your interests in communication and media, your familiarity with your intended program and its courses, and requires the submission of a resume.

The application offers options for requesting an interview appointment. If you are applying to the Minor in Journalism, you do NOT need to attend an interview. Applicants are encouraged to request the earliest appointment date available with special attention to the following:

  • Spring semester applicants should request a date in the Fall.
  • Freshmen applicants should request a date no later than March (note: in order to be considered for on-campus housing and Financial Aid).
