The\u00a0Proposal Routing Form<\/a>\u00a0requires the creation of a secure digital signature. Here are step-by-step instructions to assist users. Please contact Sam Wolverton at\u00a0wolvertons@montclair.edu<\/a>\u00a0or extension 3223 with any questions.\n

1. Click on the appropriate\u00a0Signature<\/em>\u00a0field.<\/h2>\n

2. The\u00a0Add Digital ID<\/em>\u00a0box will pop up. Select\u00a0A new digital ID I want to create now<\/em>\u00a0and click\u00a0Next<\/em>.

3. The next window will default to\u00a0New PKCS#12 digital ID file<\/em>. Leave this selected and click\u00a0Next<\/em>.<\/h2>\n

4. Fill out the\u00a0Name<\/em>,\u00a0Organizational Unit<\/em>\u00a0(i.e, department),\u00a0Organization Name<\/em>\u00a0(the University), and\u00a0Email Address<\/em>\u00a0fields only. Click\u00a0Next<\/em>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

5. Enter a password in the\u00a0Password<\/em>\u00a0field and retype it in the\u00a0Confirm Password<\/em>\u00a0field. Click\u00a0Finish<\/em>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

6. \u200cThe signature has been created and the document is ready to be signed. Enter the password from Step 5 in the\u00a0Password<\/em>\u00a0field and then click\u00a0Sign<\/em>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n
