About Us

The Center for Advising & Student Transition guides undeclared students to discover their values, interests, and abilities and to identify programs of study and related personal and career goals.  The Center also works with students in academic jeopardy to expand their knowledge and skills, clarify their goals, and develop ownership for their educational experiences. Through its work with the University’s advising areas, CAST promotes a high standard of academic advising across campus by educating the campus community on academic advising approaches and strategies, tools, trends, and resources.
