At Montclair State, who you are matters just as much as where you’re going. That’s why, when you live on campus, you’re at the center of the complete college experience. You’ll become part of a diverse, inclusive campus community, and gain a sense of personal independence that will stay with you throughout the course of your life. There’s still time for you to apply to live on campus this fall!

The Inspiration

When you’re a resident Red Hawk, you’re a part of something that moves you. To be one of the 5,000 students who live here on campus, is to experience inspiration where you live.

The Experience

When you make Montclair State your home, you’ll join the over 5,000 Red Hawks who live on campus. Our vibrant residence halls come in three comfortable styles: spacious single, double, and triple rooms. Our award-winning residence halls have everything from the latest technology to breathtaking views.

The Excitement

You can take in performances at our state-of-the-art Kasser Theater, pursue your interests through more than 120 clubs and organizations, pledge our thriving Greek Life, or just hang out in our scenic Quad. And with the lights of Manhattan dotting our horizon, few universities bring you closer to the city, or your dreams.
