Campus Buildings Breaker Testing

Testing Will Be Conducted Thursday, January 3 – Monday, January 7, 2019.

Important Notice

University Facilities will conduct electric breaker testing Thursday, January 3 through Monday, January 7, 2019. Testing will be conducted each at between 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., each day. Over the five day period, each building will be tested. Testing will be conducted during daylight hours. During a building’s test period there could be a limited power outage lasting no more than to approximately 20 minutes.

The following buildings will be included in the testing:

  • Calcia Hall
  • CarParc Diem Parking Deck
  • Center for Computing Science
  • Center for Environmental and Life Sciences
  • Chapin Hall
  • College Hall
  • Dickson Hall
  • Feliciano School of Business
  • Finley Hall
  • Freeman Hall
  • Fox Theater
  • Life Hall
  • Machuga and Dinallo Heights
  • Memorial Auditorium
  • Morehead Hall
  • Panzer Athletic Center
  • Red Hawk Diner
  • Red Hawk Parking Deck
  • Richardson Hall
  • Russ Hall
  • School of Nursing
  • Schmitt Hall
  • Sprague Library
  • Stone Hall

Critical Services Remain Active

Any buildings that are connected to backup generator power (such as the University Police Department) will not lose power. Critical technology services will remain active. If a building should lose power briefly, network connection may be interrupted and be restored approximately 10-15 minutes after power is restored to the building.
