Holds Update

Information about Holds for Fall 2020.

Posted in: Academic, Announcements, Featured News, Wellness

This is an important update to holds related to fall 2020 registration. Please read all the details.

Remember to go to your NEST account to see if you have any holds!

Immunizations

Obtaining your immunization records can be challenging during the COVID19 pandemic; therefore at this time immunization holds will not prevent fall 2020 class registration. This is a temporary measure.

However, students are still required to comply with NJ State and University immunization requirements and submit immunization records in the MyHealth portal. Requirements vary for full-time, part-time, undergraduate or graduate status and age. When you submit all documentation, your immunization records will be checked for compliance.

Students who remain non-compliant will receive a hold that will prevent future registration.

Student Accounts

Financial holds are placed on a student’s account when a student has not paid their outstanding bill. This hold WILL PREVENT registration, the release of transcripts and diplomas.  Financial holds are being updated every hour. If you have paid your balance the hold will be removed. Continue to review NEST to see the status of your hold.

Advising

Advising holds are placed to let you know that your advisor has something to discuss with you. If you have an advising hold, you must contact your advisor before registering.

Parking

Parking account holds are temporarily lifted until Monday, August 31, to allow class registration.
