Health Services Fee

Summer Sessions University Health Services Fee.

Posted in: Announcements, Featured News, Wellness

Dear Student

A number of students have inquired about the Health Services fee charged for summer 2020.

Typically, you don’t see the Health Center Services fee on your bill because it’s bundled with the “Student Services Fee,” which includes support for the Student Recreation Center and the Student Center. However, the University won’t be collecting those fees because the Student Recreation Center is closed and the Student Center isn’t able to provide you with programming. Therefore, we eliminated $22.20 per credit from your summer bill for the Recreation Center and Student Center fees. The Health Services fee remains. You bill is up-to-date.

A full range of health and wellness services are still available for use by all students, even those taking remote classes. These services include medical services provided in person and by telemedicine, individual and group counseling via telehealth, health education programs including smoking cessation, sleep assistance and weight management and academic services provided by the Disability Resource Center. There are no additional fees and no co-pays for these services.
