Dear Students:

Thank you for your patience over the last week while we closed fall registration to update  the fall schedule of courses. Starting Friday, July 10, your fall schedule will be available for you to review in NEST.

Connect with Your Advisor

Please contact your advisor, or your college or school’s Student Success Center, if you have questions. You can find your advisor’s name by logging into NEST and opening DegreeWorks or Navigate. Fall registration will reopen on Friday, July 10.

How Will Classes Be Held This Fall

To comply with the State of New Jersey’s health and safety guidelines for universities, we plan to offer many classes this fall in a hybrid format, which includes both in-person instruction combined with some online instruction. This allows you to have options for socially-distanced, in-person classes. We will also continue to offer some classes in a fully online format, so that students who need that option have access to it.

Class Codes: Instructional Modality

All fall courses will have a code indicating their “instructional modality,” or teaching format, appearing next to each section on the class schedule.

Two of the instructional modes are completely online: HawkSYNC Online and HawkASYNC Online. Three instructional modes have elements that bring you to campus: Hawk2Hawk, HawkLIVE and HawkMIX. To learn more, consult Course Instruction Fall 2020. The modalities of your classes will be visible where indicated below on your schedule in NEST.
