The University is pleased to announce it has been awarded a grant by the State of New Jersey to support our students in all stages of recovery. Recovery is a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life and strive to reach their full potential. This grant is available to help students in recovery to cover the costs of tuition, on-campus housing and books through the Red Hawk Recovery Program.

What is the Red Hawk Recovery Program?

Montclair State University provides an inclusive and affirming community for students to maintain their recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. Our campus provides a nurturing environment for students to learn how to balance their academic and personal aspirations while having an authentic college experience. Recovery services are available to ensure students have the tools and resources necessary to prevent relapse and to succeed in life. Recently the University did a story on the Red Hawk Recovery Program in its announcement of the grant. Read the Story.
