Announcing 2021 Commencement Ceremonies

Montclair State University will hold its 2021 Commencement ceremonies on campus between Monday, June 7 and Saturday, June 19.
Students who are eligible to participate are doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s candidates who completed their graduation requirements in August 2020, December 2020, January 2021 or will have completed their requirements in May 2021.
Similar to the 2020 Commencement, there will be a number of ceremonies, all of which will be held at Sprague Field. The number of tickets allotted to each student will be determined closer to the event in an effort to maximize the attendance while ensuring compliance with the State of New Jersey’s directives regarding outdoor gatherings. There will be strict safety protocols in place to help protect everyone in attendance.
Regalia is required to participate in the Commencement ceremonies and must be purchased in advance. Regalia ordering will open on Monday, March 15, 2021. The link will be posted on the commencement website.
