Thursday, April 22 is Earth Day and the University planned numerous events centered around our planet! Below is a consolidated list of the programs being hosted by various departments and offices between Monday, April 19 and Saturday, April 24.

Monday, April 19

• Montclair Earth Week Part 1 – Sustainable Transportation: 7-8 p.m., Online.

Tuesday, April 20

• Rec Nights – Terrarium Making: 6-8 p.m., Student Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room 2.
• Montclair Earth Week Park 2 – Sustainable Living: 7-8 p.m., Online.

Wednesday, April 21

• Planting Party: 1-3 p.m., Montclair State Community Garden (Across from Science Hall).
• Earth Day Extravaganza: 2:30-4:30 p.m., Student Center, Quad.
• Montclair Earth Week Part 3 – Sustainable Food Systems: 7-8 p.m., Online.

Thursday, April 22

• Mountain Top Yoga: 6-7:45 p.m., Mills Reservation.
• Montclair Earth Week Part 4 – Sustainable Business Practices: 7-8 p.m., Online.

Friday, April 23

• DIY Tote Bags & Stuff a Plush – Sea Critters: 6-8 p.m., Student Center, Cafeteria.
• Friday Night Fire Pit: 6-8 p.m., Student Recreation Center, Back Patio.

Saturday, April 24

• Volunteer at Brookdale Park for Arbor Day: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Brookdale Park.
• Bike Maintenance 101: 1-3 p.m., Student Recreation Center, Back Patio.

Sunday, April 25

• Trivia Challenge – Earth Day Facts vs Myths: 12 p.m. – Monday, April 26, 12 p.m., Kahoot.

All Week Long

• Campus Rec Run Series: Walk/run 2 miles in April for a chance at an exclusive t-shirt!
• Campus Recycling: Now through Friday, April 30, All day, Student Recreation Center, Lobby.
