On-campus Weekly Vaccine Clinic Discontinued

As of Friday, May 21, Passaic County has discontinued its vaccination site on the Montclair State campus. As the summer progresses, we may be hosting vaccine clinics again on campus. We will let you know if and when they will be scheduled! In the meantime, other sites are available for you to use, that are close to campus!

Alternative Vaccination Sites

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine through Passaic County is available at the former Modell’s Sporting Goods store at 1710 Route 46 West, Woodland Park, NJ, Tuesdays and Thursdays in May, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome or you can register online.

Also, all members of the Montclair State community can get vaccinated in Essex County, no matter where they live. Check www.essexcovid.org for appointment openings or call the county’s COVID-19 Hotline at 973-877-8456. Another alternative: Text your zip code to “438829” and vaccination locations will be texted to your phone within 10 seconds.

On-Campus Testing Continues

Any member of the University community who wants to be tested for COVID-19 can get a PCR or rapid test on campus in Webster Hall. Bring your University ID. View Details about On-Campus Testing.

[As of Thursday, June 24, 2021, Passaic County has stopped provided testing on campus.]

Update to Policy for On-Campus Face Coverings

On Monday, May 17, Governor Murphy signed an executive order eliminating the requirement to wear a face covering outdoors, except in certain locations such as health-care facilities or K-12 schools. The University has changed its policy to comply with the new executive order. Masks are no longer required in any outdoor space on the campus – of course, you are still welcome to wear one if you’d like.
