You Can Waive the Health Insurance!

To Waive or Enroll in the school-sponsored health insurance plan visit the University Health Plans (UHP) website. Montclair State University has partnered with UHP to administer the plan and assist with waiver, enrollment and or benefit-related questions.

Waive It or Pay It!

Failure to submit a waiver by the deadline date of Friday, October 1, 2021, even if you have other comprehensive coverage, will result in automatic enrollment in the plan.

You will be responsible for paying the premium even if you have other health insurance coverage if you fail to waive it by the deadline!

Please Note: International students have a slightly different process. Get more information on our health insurance web page.
