Health Update

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in New Jersey and the emergence of the more contagious Delta variant, the University has updated its mask requirements for everyone who comes to the campus, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. The update reflects the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control.

What Is Required

All students, staff, faculty, contractors and visitors must wear face coverings at all times:

  • Indoors, except when alone in a private room
  • Outdoors in crowded settings
  • In all University vehicles

Masks may be removed while eating and drinking – but only when it is possible to keep at least six feet of distance between yourself and others.

As always, please be sure your mask covers your nose and your mouth!
