Montclair State Dining Services is listening to our campus community and we want you to know that we hear you! We are working hard to continuously improve and maintain our commitment to our students, faculty, staff and guests to provide the highest standards of service. Our team of culinarians and associates care deeply about serving safe, healthy meals and strive to ensure that every menu item meets the highest quality standards.

Student Town Hall Meeting

We have scheduled a Student Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, November 16, 3 p.m., to gather your feedback in regards to dining service operations, menu variety, customer service and food quality. The goal of this open forum is to address your questions directly and we encourage you to register to attend.

Student Advisory Board

We are working to develop a Dining Services Student Advisory Board comprised of cross institutional diverse and inclusive representation including students, faculty and staff. Our goal is to have our first meeting prior to the end of this semester. If you are interested in joining, please contact Lindsey Anderson at andersonlin@montclair.edu.

Now Open!

We are excited to announce that Café Diem is now open! Located at the Sprague Library, Café Diem offers freshly brewed coffee, grab and go sandwiches and salads, bottled beverages, snacks, bakery items and more to come in January! Café Diem is open Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Join us at our Thank•ful event on Thursday, November 18, 12 p.m., Sam’s Place for a traditional Thanksgiving table, fill out a post-it for our Grateful Wall.

Use your Unlimited Meal Plan or 1 Block Swipe for entry. Non-Meal Plan holders pay $10.70 (students don’t pay tax!) for an all-you-care-to-eat Thanksgiving meal! Use Flex, Red Hawk Dollars, Cash or Credit Card to pay. All are welcome, we hope to see you there!

While you’re at our Thank•ful event, take the opportunity to giive back and donate swipes at our Swipe Out Hunger table, listen to our live DJ, snap a selfie in our Photo Booth, win prizes and more! Don’t forget to make a donation to the Red Hawk Food Pantry for a chance to spin our prize wheel!
