Weather Notice News Item Banner

The Friday, February 25 forecast calls for a possible mix of rain, snow and ice. Facilities crews are preparing by salting campus roads and walkways in advance. Please use caution if you will be traveling tomorrow.

It is always the University’s intention to remain open and operating whenever possible. Therefore, members of the campus community should assume that the regular class and activity schedule will be in effect unless otherwise notified.

Any closing or cancellation notices will be posted on www.montclair.edu and sent by email and RAVE text alerts. Please make sure your mobile phone number is accurate in NEST (students) or Workday (employees) so that you can get these text messages.

Please do not call the University Police Department to find out if the University is open. Instead, check the website. Calling just ties up the police dispatchers. They need to be available to handle any emergencies.

Move Cars off Surface Lots

To assist with any plowing needs, University Facilities requests that all cars be moved off surface parking lots to CarParc Diem by 10 p.m. tonight, Thursday, February 24. Cars can be returned to surface lots after 6 p.m., Friday, February 25.
