Seeking Spoken Word Artist!
Selected Artist Will Perform at Dr. Koppel’s Presidential Investiture on September 15, 2022.

We are seeking a spoken word artist to prepare an original piece to perform at Dr. Koppel’s Presidential Investiture on September 15, 2022. An investiture is “a ceremony held to confer the official power of the office upon a new college president.”
On September 15, 2022, we will formally welcome Dr. Koppell as the 9th President of Montclair State University. The investiture will serve as a celebration to mark a new era for the University. If you are interested in being part of this historical event, please complete the following survey by Friday, April 29.
A member of the Spoken Word Selection Committee will contact interested students by Monday, May 2, with further details.
