Important Steps

Please read the following information to be prepared for spring registration:

Review Registration Times

These times are based on your earned credits as of September 3, 2022 and do not include currently enrolled credits for the fall 2022 semester. Please Note: Registration times represent the FIRST time you can register, not the ONLY time. You are not excused from class to register. Check for Your Time!

See Your Advisor

Your advisor understands your area(s) of academic interest and can support your achievement of your goals. Academic advising helps you develop an education plan for completing your degree and beyond and fosters your intellectual and personal development. Make an Appointment, Now!

Check to See If You Have a Hold

Holds are placed on a student’s account when students have not completed necessary requirements established by the University or have not paid their outstanding bill. Please check your NEST account to ensure you do not have any holds blocking your registration access. If you have a hold, please use the information in NEST to follow up with the appropriate office to resolve the issue. Get More Info about Holds.

Find Out if You Need a Registration PIN

All first-year students, pre-declared majors (undeclared students), undergraduate students majoring in Anthropology, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Geography, Sustainability Science, Political Science, Jurisprudence, Law and Society or Law and Governance, readmit students, transfer students and veteran students are required to meet with their advisor in order to receive a registration PIN. Please Note: Priority registration students will receive an email explaining how to obtain their “alternate PIN” before their registration time. Get More Information about PINs.
