Welcome to the start of the spring 2023 semester!
Please remember, all vehicles parking on Montclair State University’s campus must be registered to a valid Montclair State University permit or pay for daily parking. If you don’t already have a parking permit and need to purchase one, please visit the Parking Services website for all the details.
You also can park in the Red Hawk parking deck by either purchasing a specific permit for the deck (if you are eligible) or paying an hourly fee. Also, you can download the PaybyPhone app to pay to park in Commuter/General surface lots or CarParc Diem deck, if you do not have a parking permit.
Allow Extra Time!
Remember, many people are returning to the roads after the holidays. Our local roads will be congested. Allow for extra time to travel to campus and to successfully navigate campus roads. Also, the weather is not always predictable, so be sure to have your car prepped for winter travel and allow for slower traffic.
Consider leaving your car at home and try using public transit. Montclair State is situated between two train stations and is served by multiple bus lines; this makes public transit an easy and environmentally-friendly choice.
NJ TRANSIT has a Student Pass that provides a good savings. Please see their website www.njtransit.com/studentpass for full details.
