Tuition Hearing & Listening Session

Your voice in this process is important!

The Montclair State University Board of Trustees (BOT) will hold their annual tuition hearing on Friday, March 31, 2023 in University Hall, 7th Floor Conference Center. Each year, the Montclair State University’s Board of Trustees hosts an open forum where students can share their concerns regarding proposed tuition, housing and fees for the 2023-2024 academic year. University leaders will share information that will help you understand how these decisions are made.

Listening Session: Thursday, March 23, 1-2:30 p.m.

Montclair State University has two (2) students who serve on the Board of Trustees: Ms. Maria Cavero Munoz and Ms. Mariana Luna-Martinez. Prior to the BOT meeting, they will be hosting a listening session to hear student’s thoughts on the proposed tuition, fee and housing amounts for the 2023-24 academic year. Campus professionals will also be present to answer your questions!

  • Time: 1-2:30 p.m.
  • Location: Student Center, Room 417

Can’t Make the Listening Session or Tuition Hearing?

Students who are unable to attend the BOT hearing on Friday, March 31 or the listening session on Thursday, March 23, may submit their comments on proposed tuition and fees to: tuitioncomments@montclair.edu.
