A valid permit is required to park on campus. Please carefully review the information below before purchasing your permit. You can view full details about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/facilities\/logistic-support\/parking-services\/parking-regulations\/#summer\"><strong>Parking Regulations.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>How to Purchase Your Summer Permit<\/h3>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Log into the <a href=\"https:\/\/montclairstate.t2hosted.com\/cmn\/auth_ext.aspx\"><strong>Parking Portal<\/strong><\/a> with your NetID and password.<\/li>\n<li>After logging in, select &#8220;Get a Permit.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Next&#8221; and \u201cSelect Permit and Permit Agreement.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Pay for your permit.<\/li>\n<li>Your permit is <strong>virtual<\/strong> and will be attached to your license plate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Important Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Summer permits are valid through Monday, August 31.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Permits are issued based on enrollment status and student classification, using information provided by the Office of the Registrar.<\/li>\n<li>Students enrolled in Summer Session courses may purchase:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>General\/Commuter Permit:<\/strong> $25.00 (plus tax).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Red Hawk Deck Permit<\/strong>: $50.00 (plus tax).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students not enrolled in summer classes but planning to park on campus may purchase a General\/Commuter permit for $25.00 (plus tax).<\/li>\n<li>Students who held an Academic Year 2025-2026 permit, including NJ Transit permit holders, must purchase a summer permit to park on campus during the summer months.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Faculty\/staff lot restrictions apply all year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Daily Parking Options<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Red Hawk Deck:<\/strong> Daily parking is available. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/facilities\/parking-rates-and-fees\/\"><strong>View Rates.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pay-by-Phone:<\/strong> Pay by Phone is available in all General (yellow) Commuter lots for visitors and short-term parking. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/facilities\/logistic-support\/parking-services\/parking-regulations\/#d.en.44845\"><strong>View Pay-by-Phone Options.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Looking Ahead to Fall 2026<\/h3>\n<p>Fall permits will go on sale starting <strong>Saturday, August 1<\/strong>.
