{"id":3035,"date":"2019-11-06T10:00:29","date_gmt":"2019-11-06T15:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/study-abroad\/?p=3035"},"modified":"2019-11-14T12:10:24","modified_gmt":"2019-11-14T17:10:24","slug":"submit-your-pictures-for-the-study-abroad-photo-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/study-abroad\/2019\/11\/06\/submit-your-pictures-for-the-study-abroad-photo-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Submit your pictures for the Study Abroad Photo Contest!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of International Engagement is thrilled to announce that our Photo Contest is now accepting submissions!<\/p>\n<p>The contest is open to Fall 2018, January 2019, Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 study abroad alumni.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to submit is <strong>Friday, November 8, 2019. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You may submit up to 3 photos per category:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Place:<\/strong> <em>Scenic landscapes, monuments, etc.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>People:<\/strong> <em>Images featuring yourself, friends, and\/or locals, cultural images, etc.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Send your photo as an attachment to: <a href=\"mailto:studyabroad@montclair.edu\">studyabroad@montclair.edu<\/a><\/strong><strong>\u00a0(Size: &lt;1GB or higher)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>*Submissions must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full Name<\/li>\n<li>Category (Place\/People)<\/li>\n<li>Country where photo was taken<\/li>\n<li>Title of Photo<\/li>\n<li>Brief description<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From November 18<sup>th<\/sup> to November 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, select photos will be displayed on campus (location TBA) and on the Montclair Study Abroad Facebook photo albums. Voting will also take place during this time. Photos with the highest votes in each category will receive:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> Place<\/strong>: $50 Red Hawk Dollars<\/p>\n<p><strong>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place<\/strong>: Montclair State Hoodie<\/p>\n<p><strong>3<sup>rd<\/sup> Place<\/strong>: Montclair State Coffee Mug<\/p>\n<p><em>All photo entries may be used for future marketing and\/ or social media purposes.
