decarbonize America&#8217;s food system.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jessica Henry<\/strong> (Justice Studies) wrote an <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.com\/opinion\/2024\/05\/incarcerating-njs-elderly-makes-no-sense-we-can-fix-this-opinion.html?outputType=amp\" target=\"_blank\">opinion piece for NJ.com<\/a> supporting legislation that would create a pathway for New Jersey\u2019s geriatric prison population to seek sentencing relief and potential release.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jason Williams<\/strong> (Justice Studies) is quoted in this <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2024\/05\/25\/george-floyd-racism-backlash\/73548393007\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>USA Today<\/em> report<\/a> about the legacy of George Floyd&#8217;s murder and a backlash movement that has hindered attempts at racial justice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jill Wodnick<\/strong> (Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health) is quoted in this <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.com\/data\/2024\/05\/this-maternity-benefit-can-save-lives-but-few-nj-women-know-it-exists.html\" target=\"_blank\">NJ.com article<\/a> about a life-saving maternity benefit available to low-income moms that is being underused.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eric Weiner<\/strong> (Educational Foundations) wrote a <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/29\/opinion\/college-humanities-liberal-arts.html?unlocked_article_code=1.v00.dHav.oq_Zd-I-QgBK&amp;smid=url-share\" target=\"_blank\">Letter to the Editor published in <em>The New York Times<\/em><\/a> in response to a recent <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/19\/opinion\/college-university-liberal-arts-democracy.html\" target=\"_blank\">guest essay<\/a> calling for more Socrates and Plato in higher education.<\/li>\n<li><strong>David Galef<\/strong> (English) wrote a piece for <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/opinion\/views\/2024\/05\/08\/how-accommodating-can-should-faculty-be-opinion\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Inside Higher Ed<\/em><\/a> about when student accommodations may go too far.<\/li>\n<li>Research by <strong>Gabriel Rubin<\/strong> (Justice Studies) was featured in an article in <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chronicle.com\/article\/is-this-the-end-of-reading\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Chronicle of Higher Education<\/em><\/a> about how students are coming to college less willing and able to read.<\/li>\n<li>Montclair\u2019s success in over-performing on graduation rates is cited in a <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jeffselingo.com\/newsletter-archives\/when-college-is-all-about-the-job\/\" target=\"_blank\">recent edition of the Next newsletter<\/a> by journalist and higher education author Jeff Selingo.<\/li>\n<li>As part of the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/video\/quintuplets-graduate-on-the-same-day-from-the-same-college-211753029540\"
