Dear Undergraduate Students,

We hope that you are adjusting to your online courses and are staying healthy during this public health emergency. Since our announcement regarding the spring 2020 changes to the PASS/FAIL policy, we have put together a visual guide that we believe will help you make an informed decision about whether to take any of your classes PASS/FAIL.

Starting Monday, April 6, you can choose PASS/FAIL for one or more of your courses. Just go to NEST, click “Register for Classes,” and select the “Spring 2020 pass/fail request” under Registrar’s Office Tools. The Registrar has created a tool to walk you through each step of the process.

As you work hard to successfully complete this year, remember that you have until Monday, May 4, 2020, to decide which classes you’d like to take PASS/FAIL, which gives you plenty of time to review your decisions with your academic advisor. Be aware that some courses cannot be taken PASS/FAIL. You can find a list of those exceptions here.

We are committed to your academic success and wish you the best as we work together toward the end of a very unusual year.
