Feedback can take the form of written words, Screencastify (or other) videos, and face-to-face conferences. This writing should be revised by students and\/or serve as scaffolded prose that will build toward future assignments in the class.<\/li>\n<li>Revision.<\/li>\n<li>Regular instructor feedback on drafts; evaluation of and feedback on final drafts.<\/li>\n<li>A research-based essay, which is one of the three major essays in the class.<\/li>\n<li>Instruction in basic research techniques and more particular attention to teaching writing without plagiarism, i.e., summary, paraphrase and direct quotation. (Note: New Student Experience class instructors send students to the library for a basic tour; 105 instructors should schedule a directive research class.)<\/li>\n<li>Review of citation requirements, from Works Cited page to introduction of quotes.<\/li>\n<li>Instruction and practice in peer review.<\/li>\n<li>Use of\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/canvas\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canvas<\/a>, at least minimally, for announcements, posting of grades, assignments and syllabi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>WRIT 106 College Writing II<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Students should write 4,500-5,500 words for which they are given your feedback.
