2007 SEASON: Appeared and started all 23 games in goal… Named to NSCAA Division III All-America Second Team… Chosen to D3Kicks.com All-America Third Team… Named to NSCAA and D3Kicks.com All-Metro Region First Team… Named NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year and First-Team All-NJAC… Three-time NJAC Defensive Player of the Week… Ranked 18 th in the NCAA in goals against average and sixth in save percentage… Led the NJAC in goals against average and shutouts and was second in save percentage and fourth in saves… Set the Montclair single-season record for victories and posted the second-highest total for shutouts in a season… Made four or saves in a game 11 times… Posted a streak of 704:34 without allowing a goal as Montclair State blanked its first eight opponents… Had a nine-save performance in a scoreless double-overtime tie with Swarthmore and seven saves the following day as MSU topped Skidmore, 1-0 at the Skidmore Invitational on September 8-9… Stopped nine shots as the Red Hawks successfully defended their conference crown with a 1-0 win over New Jersey City on November 3… Made four saves in Montclair State's 2-1 win over Penn State Behrend in the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship on November 10… Had four saves as MSU beat New Jersey City in the NCAA Sectional Tournament on November 17... He had four saves in the Red Hawks’ 1-0 loss Messiah ion the NCAA Elite 8 on November 18.
2006 SEASON: Appeared in 19 games with 17 starts in goal... Named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week three times... Posted the second-lowest goals against average in program history... Recorded the second-best season win toal by a goalkeeper... Led the NJAC in goals against average and shutouts... Ranked third in save percentage (.864)... Made six saves and allowed just one goal in MSU's 3-1 win over Rowan on September 16... Made five stops, including one on a penalty kick in the Red Hawks' 1-0 win at Richard Stockton on October 21... Made eight saves and posted a shutout in Montclair's 3-0 NJAC Tournament semifinal win against Kean on October 31... Had seven saves in the NJAC Championship Game versus New Jersey City on November 3... Had three saves versus Wesleyan (CT) in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on November 11... Had six saves in MSU's 1-1 tie with Dominican (IL) in the NCAA Sectionals at Case Western Reserve on November 18.
2005 SEASON: Played in three games with one start at goalkeeper…Made two saves and had one goal scored against…Picked up a win as the Red Hawks defeated Mitchell College on October 8th. |
