RED HAWKS PLACE FIVE ON NJCBA ALL-STATE TEAM

Montclair, NJ (5/19/08) – Senior designated hitter Rob Bowness (right) earned his second straight First-Team honor as Montclair State placed five players on the 2008 New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association All-State Team. Bowness was joined on the First Team by fellow classmates Jeff Miller and Lou Politan.

MONTCLAIR'S SEASON ENDS IN NCAA NEW YORK REGIONAL

Auburn, NY (5/16/08) – One of the longest days in Montclair State history ended on a down note as the Red Hawks were eliminated from the NCAA New York Regional Tournament early Saturday morning. Montclair, which began its day at 10:00 am, fell to Eastern Connecticut, 14-0 to finish the year at 28-20. Lou Politan (right) had two hits for MSU.
