FERRANTI, McCREA NAMED TO NFCA DIVISION III ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

Montclair, NJ (5/16/08) – Seniors Jackie Ferranti (right) and Carolyn McCrea put the exclamation point on two of the most successful careers in school history as the two were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-American Team. It is the second honor for both, who led MSU to a 43-6 mark this past season and the NJAC championship.

MONTCLAIR STATE'S SEASON ENDS AT PLATTSBURGH REGIONAL

Plattsburgh, NY (5/9/08) – The Montclair State softball team saw its record-setting season end on Friday as the Red Hawks were eliminated from the NCAA Plattsburgh Regional with a 3-2 loss to Eastern Connecticut. Earlier in the day the Red Hawks held off elimination with a 6-0 triumph over Springfield College. MSU ends its season at 43-6.
