This event offers both an introduction to, and a critical reading of, one of the most popular brands and concepts in the world. A discussion devoted to Italian design, this event features as guest speakers Daniele Balicco (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris - 2016-17), editor of the book Made in Italy e cultura, and Wava Carpenter, editor in chief of the online design magazine Pamono. Iain Kerr, co-director of the innovative MIXLab at the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship, will launch a new student contest inspired by Italian design.

Event is presented by the Theresa and Lawrence R. Inserra Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies, Department of Spanish and Italian, at Montclair State University. The event is co-sponsored by the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship and the Global Education Center, in collaboration with the MIX Lab, all at Montclair State.

Event is free and open to the public.

Directions and parking info: Park in the Red Hawk Deck on campus, exit the deck on Level 5 and proceed straight up the walkway (soccer field will be on your left) to the new Feliciano School of Business building. Campus map with directions.
