Reunion 2022

This May, members of the Classes of 1970, 1971 and 1972 will have the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and fellow alumni at their 50th Reunion. In celebration of this milestone anniversary, the classes are invited to campus for an in-person gathering and tour of campus. Reunion celebrants will also be invited to lead the procession during the University’s 2022 Commencement Ceremony.

Assistant Provost Daniel Jean ’00 MA

Daniel “Danny” Jean ’00 is passionate about making first-generation students’ dreams come true. Jean became Assistant Provost for Special Programs, EOF and Academic Success in July 2020. In the newly created role, Jean oversees the Future College Graduate Academy, which provides a unified enrollment and graduation strategy for highly motivated, low-income, first-generation cohorts. A signature program, it is a grant-funded partnership with the Newark Board of Education to enroll 300 of the city’s high school juniors and seniors in Montclair State University courses to improve college preparedness and empower the whole family to foster a college-going culture.
