Public telescope night returns for one-night only, Thursday, April 28th at 8pm (weather permitting). See the night sky and learn about what you're really looking at from professionals with professional equipment. Public Telescope Night is organized by volunteers from the North Jersey Astronomical Group (NJAG).
Our telescopes cannot see through clouds! Public Telescope Nights will be cancelled if the weather is cloudy, cold (<20 F), or very windy. It's considered "clear" if you can see the moon or at least 10 stars clearly. Check the NJAG Facebook page to see if Public Telescope Night is cancelled due to weather conditions.
