Profile

Hallo! I am excited to be a part of the MSU community. Born in Nuremberg, Germany, I studied in Berlin and Zurich. Before going to grad school at Harvard, I worked and lived in Providence and New York City. I graduated in May, 2010 with a dissertation on time and literature. Before coming to MSU, I was a College Fellow at Harvard. At MSU, I am the coordinator of the German program. This Fall semester, I am teaching introductory German, German Grammar, and an Intro to German Literature course. Come talk to me about German classes (language and culture), the German minor, the German Major, as well as study or work abroad, summer programs, or anything else. In any case, join the German Club at MSU and the German Listserv (send me an email).

Specialization

19th and 20th Century German Literature, German Film, Narrative Theory, Literature and Philosophy, Literary Anti-Semitism
