Bio
<b>Rebecca DeLuccia</b> is an inventor, entrepreneur, and business communication faculty member with extensive professional experience. She is a three-time U.S. utility patent holder, earning a <b>rare first-round approval</b> for an innovative hands-free dog-leashing system; a co-founder of HundHaus Designs LLC; and the leader of the direct-to-consumer DAE Lead brand. In 2025, she earned second place in the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Pitch Day Competition and is now an FCE+I mentor for inventor-led patent strategy and prototyping. A former communications consultant to Fortune 500 organizations, her expertise includes strategic HR communication, organizational change communication, and AI fluency–based communication skill development. She integrates her real-world experience into her business communication teaching.
