Stacy Gitlin is Professor focusing much of her time as coordinating producer of the student run organization the Red Hawk Sports Network. In partnership with the Athletics department, RHSN produces weekly content in the form of live multi-camera games, highlights, profiles and other engaging videos across streaming platforms. Gitlin worked at ESPN for 15 years, after graduating from The University at Albany in 2004 where she played D1 softball. After developing features and highlights for SportsCenter, X Games, Special Olympics and The World Cup of Hockey, she went into freelance in 2017 and began her career as a professor at Montclair State, teaching editing and sports broadcasting. She continues to produce for NBC, CBS and ESPN while teaching at Montclair State. During her freelance years, Gitlin has won 2 Sports Emmys for her work on the Olympics as well as created feature content for the Heisman Trophy presentation.
