Cyndi Kumor is the Production Business Associate for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Prior to
taking this full-time position, in September 2025, she was working in, essentially, the same position on a
part-time basis since 2015. Besides her Production Office duties, Cyndi has taught Theatre History,
Acting for the Singer I & II, Introduction to the Theatrical Medium, and Acting I.
In her close to 30 years as a performer she appeared on Broadway and in the 3 rd National tour of
LES MISERABLES, as well as in the Broadway company of Hal Prince’s SHOW BOAT.
In addition, Cyndi also appeared in the Vancouver, Chicago, and Phoenix Tour of RAGTIME, where she eventually took over the role of Emma Goldman. Favorite roles include Mama Rose in GYPSY, Eva Perone in EVITA, Reno Sweeney in ANYTHING GOES, and Dorothy Brock in 42 nd STREET.

Ms. Kumor holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and an MA in Theatre Studies from Montclair State
University.
