Michael holds an MBA, a MicroMasters in Design Thinking from RIT, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design focusing on Automotive and Product Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and a Bachelor's of Sciences in Marketing and International Business from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

He owns Valid Studio, an independent design consultancy engaged in product design, prototyping, branding, and online marketing.

At Montclair State, he teaches four courses as an Adjunct Professor of Product Design for the Department of Art and Design; Design Visualization II: Persuasive Rendering, Design Visualization III: Digital Design Sketching, Transportation Design I, and Transportation Design II. He also built and teaches a special topics Spring Break Study Abroad trip: Italian Icons of Automotive Design, visiting Modena, Sant Agata Bolognese, and Milan to explore the factories and museums of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati, Pagani, and more.

Specialization

Michael has extensive experience with online branding, digital marketing, UX/UI, and Product Design, as well as 3D modeling, 3D rendering, AR/VR/XR/MR, 3D printing, graphic design, and web design.
