Biography
Dr. Lloyd Bryan Mölander joined Montclair State University in Spring 2022 as an Assistant Professor in the Management Department. He teaches courses in Ethics, Entrepreneurial Mindset, Entrepreneurial Marketing, and Management (MGMT 300, MGMT 201, ENTPR 201, and ENTPR 320), as well as in the MBA Program's Live Consulting course (BUGN 570). In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Molander serves as Director of the Summer Pre-College Entrepreneurship Program.

Dr. Mölander brings over 15 years of face-to-face and online teaching experience in Business and Law. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University prior to his full-time appointment. Adjucnt at Southern New Hampshire University, William Paterson University, the University of Reno at Tahoe (formerly Sierra Nevada University), and Westwood College.

Professional Profile
With more than 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and intrapreneur in both public and private enterprises, Dr. Mölander has held senior executive titles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Content Officer, President, and Executive Producer.
A seasoned entertainment executive, Dr. Mölander has dedicated his career to the advancement of music, the environment, and action sports through film, television, and the arts. He is the Founder and CEO of Tenacity Entertainment, LLC (2002-Present), and the Founder and Executive Festival Director of the Dana Point Film Festival (2023-Present); and in 2025, he founded and is on the Board of the nonprofit Blue Sea 2 Sky, Inc.

Managed budgets exceeding $20 million, expanded audience reach, and facilitated corporate sale readiness.
Extreme Sports Channel (1999–2003; 2019–2020) – Chief Operating Officer, Executive Producer & Co-Founder
Launched Extreme Sports Channel as Co-Founder and Executive Producer, a 24/7 channel distributed in 86 countries, later acquired by Liberty Media (now owned by AMC).
Dr. Molander’s production work has earned prestigious recognition, including The Hollywood Reporter and Producer’s Guild “Digital 50” award for influential leadership in digital entertainment. His achievements include an Emmy Award, over 16 Telly Awards, and honors from major film festivals such as Banff, Big Sky, and the Hollywood International Film Festival.
