Profile
Maryam Nezhadian is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Montclair State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Marketing, with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Her research explores the intersection of marketing and artificial intelligence, with a focus on how marketplace relationships and interactions can be better understood through advanced data-driven methods. In particular, she applies natural language processing techniques to model consumer perceptions and communication, while also addressing key managerial issues in sales, branding, and content management. In the classroom, she emphasizes experiential learning by encouraging students to engage with concepts through hands-on experiences before framing them within broader theories and frameworks.
