Deborah Reynoso serves as Director of Student Academic Services for the Graduate School, where she leads a team dedicated to supporting students from matriculation through graduation. In this role, she oversees key academic processes and works in close partnership with faculty and academic programs to address student concerns, streamline procedures, and promote academic success across the graduate community.

Deborah manages the thesis and dissertation process, ensuring students receive clear guidance and timely support at each stage of their academic milestones. She also reviews and processes requests for extensions of matriculation, helping students navigate challenges while maintaining progress toward degree completion.

A central part of Deborah’s work is student support. As a member of the University’s CARE Team, she collaborates with campus partners to respond to concerns related to student well-being and behavior, connecting students with appropriate resources and services. Through this role, she helps foster a supportive and responsive campus environment.

Deborah also leads New Student Onboarding initiatives, designing experiences that help incoming graduate students get started, stay on track, and access the tools and support they need throughout their academic journey. Under her leadership, the Academic Support Services team is committed to providing proactive, student-centered guidance every step of the way.
