kevin shaw has a background in applied anthropology. They leverage this toward collaborative work to understand the social contexts of health policies and systems and the lived expertises of community members, program participants, and other stakeholders. They have coordinated a variety of data collection and assessment capacity building projects with program staff, community health workers, and community researchers. They have also supported participatory research projects focused on health equity and evaluations of health disparities research programs in university-based centers.

At CREEHS they support the statewide evaluation of the NJ SNAP-Ed Program with the NJ Department of Health.

kevin holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Northern Arizona University and a certificate in Data Collection and Management from Montclair State University.
