Jess Sobanko earned her MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and her BFA in Film from Syracuse University. She is adjunct instructor in the Writing Studies department here at Montclair State University, as well as in the Writing Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has taught composition, creative writing, and pop culture courses and seeks to engage students in writing as an exploration of their unique identities and interests.
