Andrea Targonski joined the Grow NJ Kids (GNJK) Rating Team at CREEHS in 2021, bringing substantial expertise in early childhood education and program quality improvement. She previously served as director of a large early childhood education center in South Jersey, where she managed program operations, led curriculum implementation, advanced policy development, and coordinated the GNJK quality improvement process. She also worked as a Technical Assistance Specialist with the GNJK South Technical Assistance Center, cultivating collaborative partnerships with early childhood stakeholders across the state.
At CREEHS, Andrea has been instrumental in expanding the GNJK Rating Team from two to 18 members and now manages all facets of the rating process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency. Her work reflects a strong commitment to advancing equitable access to high-quality early childhood education, including for children with special needs.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from Rowan University.
