In Integration Practicum, you’ll work closely with a clinical mentor to practice leadership, apply evidence-based care, and sharpen your communication and decision-making skills. This course helps you synthesize what you’ve learned throughout the BSN program and prove you’re ready to lead in real healthcare settings.
It’s the final step in the RN to BSN journey — a chance to pull everything together and put your advanced nursing skills into action.
If you earned your associate degree or diploma from an accredited institution, you may transfer general education, prerequisite science, and pre-licensure nursing courses.
You’ll also be awarded 30 competency credits for passing the NCLEX-RN.
You may also transfer a 3-credit statistics course completed within the past five years at an accredited institution.
The final 27–30 credits must be earned at Montclair.

To apply to Montclair’s RN to BSN program, you’ll need to:
*Nursing students currently completing their associate degree or diploma may apply, as long as they will finish before the first day of classes at Montclair. These students must pass the NCLEX-RN within six months of starting the program.
