Exercise Science prepares exercise practitioners to perform accurate fitness assessments, including recognition of pathologic indicators, as well as to plan, implement, evaluate and sustain exercise-programming initiatives in a variety of public settings. Graduates may work in a range of health or fitness-related settings including corporate, clinical, commercial, community and private health clubs, as well as health- and fitness-related sales positions, including those in the pharmaceutical industry.

BS in Exercise Science, Clinical and Pre-Professional Studies Concentration
The BS in Exercise Science prepares students to design and implement fitness programs. Coursework focuses on providing students with a strong foundation in scientific and practical knowledge.
BS in Exercise Science, Sports Conditioning Concentration
The objective of the concentration within the major is to train undergraduate students to work in the area of sports conditioning and fitness training.
Sports Coaching Minor
This 19-credit program consists of courses in principles of coaching, fitness, advanced coaching techniques, sport psychology, management, emergency care, and sport modules. The Minor in Sports Coaching is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the CV of those students interested in coaching in school, collegiate, or professional settings.

MS in Exercise Science and Physical Education, Exercise Science Concentration
The graduate program in Exercise Science & Physical Education provides students the opportunity to pursue advanced study in the field, and to develop competency in an area of concentration. The program is designed to develop and enhance competencies necessary for teaching in school programs, coaching of athletics, conducting individualized exercise programs, administration of physical education and/or athletics, and administration of specialized exercise programs in a non-school setting.
MS in Exercise Science and Physical Education, Sports Administration and Coaching Concentration
The concentration in Sports Administration and Coaching is designed to develop and enhance competencies necessary for coaching of athletics in a public school setting or in higher education, administration of athletic programs at a secondary or higher education level, and management in a community or professional sports organization.
