The BS in Sustainability Science is a STEM-designated program that prepares you to address the environmental, social, and economic challenges of building a sustainable future. This interdisciplinary program combines coursework in environmental science, resource management, data analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with hands-on experience.
You’ll learn to analyze environmental problems, develop sustainable solutions, and use scientific tools to support decision-making for communities, businesses, and governments. Fieldwork, research opportunities, and access to state-of-the-art labs give you practical skills that employers value.
Graduates are prepared for careers in environmental consulting, renewable energy, conservation, and sustainability planning. You can also choose combined BS/MS or BS/MBA pathways to accelerate your graduate education and expand your career options in sustainability science or business administration.
